To maximise space and minimise regrets, try rolling your clothes tightly, utilise your shoes for storing small items like underwear, and aim to take only half of what you initially intended to pack.     I've had the pleasure of journeying through Greece, Spain, Hungary, Slovenia, Latvia, Germany, Romania, Italy, Croatia, Netherlands, Wales, Germany, Bulgaria and Albania. I don't think a day trip to Calais counts..
    Which country stands out as your favourite?
    Romania holds a special place in my heart. It's an incredibly diverse country, offering everything from majestic mountains to serene rivers and captivating beaches. Romania has something to enthral everyone, not to mention its delectable cuisine. Moreover, the warm and welcoming nature of its people adds to the charm of this remarkable destination.
    Would you recommend taking cash in local currency?
    Research the regions you intend to visit. Many places accept card payments and some areas will accept other currencies. Revolut has proven particularly useful in Europe, although Ryanair no longer accept it on flights.
